FBM01 is the original legacy 100-series 4–20mA analog input module for Foxboro I/A Series DCS, the generation predecessor of Compact 200 FBM201, widely deployed in early power, petrochemical and offshore DCS projects before Compact 200 launch. Equipped with 8 independent fully isolated current input channels, fixed signal range 0~20.4mA DC, designed exclusively for standard two-wire passive pressure, flow, level and temperature transmitters; no native HART signal decoding capability (only pure analog current collection, HART instruments require separate signal isolator for FBM01). Each channel adopts 600VAC withstand galvanic isolation to eliminate ground loop cross-talk interference caused by multi-point plant earthing. High-resolution sigma-delta conversion delivers ultra-high measurement accuracy ±0.05% FS; user-adjustable integration time suppresses 50/60Hz power frequency electromagnetic noise from inverters and large motors; built-in rate-of-change alarm logic triggers interlock protection when current deviates faster than set limits to prevent process drift escalation.
